Warning: Cheese Recall Hitting Michigan Stores
Shredded cheese lovers, you may want to do a quick check on some of the cheeses that you have in your fridges. Happy Farms by ALDI, is recalling their Colby Jack shredded cheeses, after a potential contamination.
This recall was voluntary, after getting a few customer complaints. At this time there are no injuries reported due to the contamination that was found inside of the product.
There is a possibility of stainless steel fragments found inside of the Colby Jack cheeses sold at Michigan stores.
The Affected Products:
- UPC 4061463330840
- Best By dates of July 13 and July 14, 2025
There were around 400 cases distributed to stores in Connecticut, Michigan as well as Ohio.

If you have any of the affected products, you are urged to toss them out, or return them to Aldi for a full refund.
You should avoid consuming the product, as ingesting metal products can do serious damage inside of the human body. If inside the digestive tract, it could cause tears, which can lead to serious injuries.
