Who’s Ready For Thanksgiving/Black Friday Shopping in the Lansing-Area

Black Friday is coming up in less than 3 days and if you are going out on Friday or Thursday there are some changes locally as to where you can shop.

One major change in the region is that the Meridian Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving Thursday.  Stores with exterior exits can choose to open, and JCPenney, Gordman’s and Younkers have done so.  The Meridian Mall will open at 6 a.m. Friday, while the Lansing Mall is not following suit, it will open at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Let’s take a look at some of the local stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day such as; Kmart, Meijer, Dollar General, Gander Mountain, Dunham’s Sports, Target, Walmart and more.

Stores that will be open on Black Friday include most of the obvious like; Sears, Dick’s Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Game Stop, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, Toys “R” Us, Hobby Lobby and several others.  Click here on the Lansing State Journal for all stores that will be open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
