Where & What to Do This Weekend in Mid-Michigan
Look out for the rain this weekend, but if you avoid the rain it should be a cool weekend with plenty to do around the Mid-Michigan area.
First, happening at at Cooley Law School Stadium inside the Chevrolet Terrace, see Jen Mann live as she discusses her new hilarious book “Working with People I Want to Punch in the Throat Cantankerous Clients, Micromanaging Minions, and Other Supercilious Scourges.” sponsored by the East Lansing Film Festival! Also, The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Lansing will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017. It's a 5K or 1Mile walk at the Michigan State Capitol Building! Apply and get more details here.
Next, is the Harvest Fest, happening at the Student Organic Farm (3291 College Rd Michigan State University Holt, MI) The day will consists of touring the farm, local food trucks & vendors, and live music. More on it.
Coming on Saturday too its the 2nd Annual Lansing Brewtoberfest Patio Party! $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $5 of each entry will be donated to Making the Turn Against Parkinson's! Featuring German food and ofcourse beer! More about it here.
This is for the kids and family, going on at the Potter Park Zoo, its Boo at the Zoo. Little ghouls and boys will enjoy two weekends of spooktacular fun. Noon to 5 p.m. Lots of fun for the whole family including a straw maze, hayrides, the Boo Tunnel and MORE HERE.
