Where To Celebrate in Lansing-Area for Nation Doughnut Day!
Friday is National Doughnut Day and to celebrate some Lansing-Area shops are giving something tasty away.
- Groovy Donuts is teaming with The Peanut Barrel for an amazing burger doughnut combo. You just have to head to The Peanut Barrel in East Lansing and enjoy one of their Rodeo Burgers, but instead of the traditional buns, you can get a Groovy Donuts glazed donuts or mini apple fritter! - Mitten Raised Bakery in East Lansing is giving away a free mermaid donut to the first 100 people through the doors Friday morning! Plus, all donuts are BOGO throughout the day! More here.
- Cops & Doughnuts Capital Precinct . All day long, Cops & Doughnuts is offering up a free 12 oz coffee or a 16 oz pop with the purchase of a doughnut. More here.
- Glazed & Confused is having two deals, first for $1 you can get an Original Glazed Donut, this will only be until supplies last so maybe pre-order a few. Also for every seven donuts you buy, you'll get a free coffee. More details here.
There are also some national chain restaurants that are doing something or giving away a treat on Friday. Dunkin' Donuts is giving away a free classic doughnut of your choice with the purchase of any beverage all day Friday while supplies last. Also Papa John's is giving away a free order of donut holes Friday with any online purchase, just use promo code DONUT for a free order with any purchase of two pizzas.
Also Tim Horton's is doing a scaveger hunt of sorts for their golden Timbits. Only five U.S. locations will have “Gold Timbits” and the first guest to ask for them after 6 a.m. on Friday at the select locations will get the edible 24k gold-covered Timbits for free and win free doughnuts for a year.
