We’re Collecting School Supplies for Lansing-Area Foster Kids

It's the mission of Child and Family Charities to strengthen and support the growth of local kids and families and to advocate for kids and families that may not otherwise have a champion.

That first school bell is about to ring and there are 400 kids in foster care in the Lansing area that wouldn't have simple school necessities if not for Child and Family Charities.

But, it takes a village, as they say.

That's why we're partnering with Child and Family Services to collect school supplies to 'Fill the Backpack' for these kids, and we're asking for your help too.

Anytime between now and August 19th, during our normal business hours, stop by the 97.5 NOW FM studios at 3420 Pine Tree Road in Lansing and drop off some supplies or maybe even a backpack.
