The new scam going around may affect your Gmail and other things on your computer if you open it, so be careful.

The scam involves if you have a Gmail account, which is under a phishing scam. More is being figured out but essentially the scam is sent by a Google Doc Link from someone you may know or might know. But inside the Google Doc is malware and once you open the Google doc, hackers will be able to gain access to your contacts and send more of these emails to others you may know.

Google has made no official announcements about the scam but in the meantime, if you know the sender, call them to ensure they are actually trying to share a Google Doc with you before opening it. To read more about it check it out here, from NBC news.
