'Star Wars Rebels' officially premiered its "Spark of Rebellion" last week to great fanfare, with the series proper to continue on Disney XD this Monday, but already the animated prequel series is making a major link to the 'Star Wars' movies. Not only will Darth Vader cameo in a newly-added premiere scene, but so too will James Earl Jones return to the role!

Per Variety, ABC's upcoming October 26 rebroadcast of the hour-long "Spark of Rebellion" premiere will bring with it an added scene, featuring none other than iconic 'Star Wars' baddie Darth Vader in an appearance designed to flesh out 'Rebels' own Inquisitor (Jason Isaacs). Best of all, Jones will return to voice the character, picking up from video game sound-alikes Scott Lawrence and Matt Sloan.

Jones last officially voiced the character in 2005's 'Revenge of the Sith,' so we have to wonder if in fact 'Rebels' might have coaxed the actor back to the role as part of the animated series' rumored connectivity to J.J. Abrams' 'Star Wars 7,' which itself has been said to potentially incorporate flashback sequences. The updated 'Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion' premiere with Jones' Vader return will air on ABC October 26 at 7:00 P.M.
