The $242 million dollar project that is transforming the old Red Cedar Golf course into apartments and retail space is going to happen. This was made official earlier this week by the Lansing City Council.

The Lansing State Journal says of the project that inside there would be at least 200 apartments, more than 1,200 beds of student housing as well as an assisted living and memory-care facility. There are also plans for restaurants and retail space as well as hotels, a park, and even a public amphitheater

Construction on the project could start as early as the spring of 2019. You can read more on it here.
