Movie Review Of The Week: The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

This week's movie that's up for review... The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. This is the third movie within "The Hobbit" series.

I was super stoked to see this movie because the first two were freaking awesome! However, I felt a little let down with this installment. I was kind of mislead by the previews I saw... they didn't really line up with what I thought the movie was going to be about. Yes, I know the movie is called "The Battle of the Five Armies," but I felt like all the previews I saw lead me to believe that it was going to focus on Smaug and his capture/attempt at killing, more than it actually did.

I will say that the battle scenes and special effects were mind blowing, so much so that I got chills, multiple times. It was awesome. I'm glad I saw it and finished the series, but I don't think that's enough to make me ever want to see it again. Once was enough. Overall, I'd give it a "C"
