Michigan Sees Gas Prices Drop Below A Dollar

UPDATE: Gas in Houghton Lake is down to 47 cents per gallon.

The nation is seeing some of the lowest gas prices since 2009, with the average price per gallon coming in at just under $2. But, Michigan saw prices even lower this past Sunday.

According to WILX, the Beacon & Bridge gas station in Houghton Lake had gas for 78 cents a gallon. No joke. It was also confirmed by GasBuddy.com (a website and phone app that shows you prices at the different gas stations in your area).

Now granted, this was partially due to a "gas war" that the Beacon & Bridge gas station was having with another gas station, but we are likely to see gas prices continue to drop. Read more HERE.
