Ingham County Animal Shelter Celebration This Weekend

The Ingham County Animal Shelter is opening their new shelter this weekend with a celebration and Adopt-A-Fest. The Ingham County Animal Shelter opened the doors of their new home last week but they are going to celebrate this weekend and thank everyone for all of their help during the construction and also thanking them for passing the millage that paid for the new place. The Shelter Grand Opening Celebration will be happening on Saturday June 15th at 2pm at the new shelter located at 600 Buhl Street in Mason.

Following the ceremony, their annual summer tradition "Adopt-A-Fest" will begin on Saturday and be running through 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15. During "Adopt-A-Fest" their will be reduced adoptions as it will be $30 for dogs, $10 for adult cats and kittens and $5 for senior cats.
