Home Explosion Caught On Dash Cam Video [VIDEO]

The police captain in this New Jersey community said this dash cam video was released to show the public that natural gas leaks are nothing to mess around with.

NBC 10 in Philadelphia says the smell of gas had been reported in this community early Tuesday morning.  As police, fire and utility company employees tried to locate the source of the apparent gas leak, a police dash cam captures the moment a home explodes.

Subsequent images show that only a crater in the earth remains where that house once stood.

15 people were injured, including utility workers and firefighters.  2 utility company employees remain hospitalized in critical condition.  Thoughts and prayers going out.
