Get even more into the holiday spirit in Mason for their annual holiday celebration, known as "Hometown USA" gets started Friday night. The event includes a light parade, music from the Mason High School marching band, and the lighting of the Christmas tree in front of the courthouse. The parade steps off at 6:15 from Bond Park, with the tree lighting happening right after.

Also Friday night:  A drive- thru light display at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. The "Night Lights" display features 65 different themes and a 250- foot lighted tunnel, spanning three miles of MIS property. It costs $20 per car, and runs until 10 o'clock Friday night.
