Tomorrow and Saturday (18th & 19th), the Summer Solstice Jazz Festival will be celebrating it's 20th anniversary in Downtown East Lansing, and EVERYONE is invited to come out and enjoy!

First of all, this festival is FREE to all, so don't worry about paying any kind of entrance fee. Which is great, because there are sooo many musicians to enjoy and activities to take part in. The festival will kick off tomorrow at 4:30 pm, with the first performance taking place at the Main Stage, located at 230 Albert Ave. Other locations hosting parts of the festival include the Ann Street plaza, at the northwest corner of the Albert/M.A.C. intersection, and at the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum, located on MSU's campus at 547 E. Circle Dr.

Some artists and activities you can look forward to include "2012 Grammy Award winner and MSU alumnus Ben Williams with his band, Sound Effect" hitting the main stage at 7:30 pm on Friday; the Gabriel Brass Band will be leading a New Orleans style parade procession from the sculpture garden at the Broad Art Museum at 3:10 pm Saturday; and "2016 Grammy-nominated pianist/vocalist Karrin Allyson, former Wynton Marsalis sideman Marcus Roberts and the Chicago Jazz Orchestra" will be performing throughout Saturday evening at the Main Stage.
