The 97.5 NOW FM Free Music Phone gives Lansing-area listeners the chance to 'download' free CDs, concert tickets, movie tickets and more.

A successful download means the prize has been secured. After each successful download, the contestant then has to decide whether to attempt another download or keep the prize(s) they've already secured. If a download is unsuccessful for whatever reason, the contestant loses all the prizes they had previously secured.

The game can tend to promote a little anxiety for listeners and the DJ, but it's nothing like the sweat-inducing pressure the contestant endures when tough decisions have to be made.

But, the thrill of victory is sweet. Especially when you're winning for someone else.
