Ford Motor Co. said Wednesday it's issuing safety recalls covering about 285,000 vehicles, below are the biggest recalls.

  • The largest recall; 201,900 vehicles has issued a safety recall for the 2011-2012 Ford F-150, and 2012 Ford Expedition, Ford Mustang and Lincoln Navigator for a potential problem with a sensor in the transmission.
  • Next 81,000 Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor SUVs from the 2014-2015 need to replace suspension toe links.
  • Ford said it's recalling about 2,600 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks from the 2016 model year to inspect and replace tires, this will only be done as needed as some of the potential to be damaged during assembly.
