The Delta Township Fire Department is going to be getting a helpful upgrade in six new full-time firefighters.

According to Delta Township Fire Chief John Clark, “The Delta Township Fire Department’s three stations cover a large region responding to over 7,000 calls last year."

The money to fund the new firemen is from the US Department of Homeland Security and their program for staffing and responding to emergencies. The extra firemen will help in fighting the many fires and other emergency issues that arise in Delta Township. You can read more about it here.
