Construction on Michigan Ave in Jackson Going Slowly….

It's been about 5 months and the construction on Michigan Ave in Jackson is going rather "Despacito" and it will probably continue the rest of the year.

The crew for MDOT are having to reconstruct the whole road, and also to work on some things under the road. These are a few reasons for it taking so long for Michigan Ave to be finished.  MDOT has said, according to WLNS,..."that things will start moving faster next week when traffic moves to new pavement on the north side of the road."

Expect crews to be all year and next year as they will have a few more things to do on Michigan Avenue next spring.
