Check Out The Summer Events In Jackson

The summer events for Jackson kicks off this weekend, and it will bring fireworks, music, and family events. The events will be taking place at the Cascades Falls Park is located 1400 S. Brown St.

The Schedule kicks off May 27th and runs through September 2nd. The gates for their Wednesday family Nights are at 7PM and admission is $10 for families up to 8 people. For the three fireworks shows this summer the gates open at 6PM, admission is $7 for 13 years or older, children between 4-12 at $3, and children under 3 are in Free.

Here are a few of the events:

May 27 (May 28 rain date) - Music and other entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk.

June 21 -  Elvis Presley tribute band.

June 28 - The Beatles tribute band.

July 3 (July 5 rain date) - Wynwood: A hometown band that has played in Jackson for more than 20 years. Fireworks begin at dusk.

July 19 - Brian Randall Band: A mix of old and new country music.

July 26 - JD Boone and Flyte: An interactive classic rock show.

Aug. 9 - Kev Nichols & Blue Tuesday: Original and classic blues

Aug. 16 - A "Disney Night Extravaganza"

Sept. 2 (Sept. 3 rain date) - Fireworks begin at dusk.
