Carrabba's is closed voluntarily, WLNS-TV reports, as the health department investigates a string of illnesses possibly connected to the restaurant.
On Monday, a patron contacted the restaurant on Saginaw Road to tell them they had become ill after eating there. Then, on Tuesday, more calls were received. That's when management made the decision to close and let the health department investigate.
The health department reportedly found no clear cause for illnesses but is asking anyone that may have gotten sick to contact the agency, saying it is investigating a "gastrointestinal illness cluster."
Get the whole story, including what the health department advises sick patrons do to make sure when they recover, they stay well.
