YoCrunch Recall: Plastic Pieces in Candy Toppers

This probably isn't your average yogurt treat, but it is definitely a tasty and delicious one that may help those late-night cravings or just fill a space in the school lunchboxes. But, it may be time to hit pause and check our fridges. Danone U.S. just did a major recall on its popular YoCrunch yogurt products over plastic concerns.

The plastic comes from the plastic dome toppers... You know, the one with the Oreos and M&M on the top.

The YoCrunch Recall

While the yogurt itself may be delicious, the problem is the plastic bits that are being found inside the yogurt, which could be sharp and pose a choking hazard. As of now, no official injuries or illnesses have been reported because of the product, but you shouldn't take that risk.

The recall includes multiple lot numbers and a variety of best-by dates from July 7th through September 4th. If you've stocked up at Meijer, Kroger, or even Walmart locations in Michigan, you may want to check your fridge.
