WHO WOULD DO THIS TO A PUPPY?!?
***WARNING: GRAPHIC PICTURES***
How could someone do this to a little puppy? A three month old pit bull puppy was brought in last week to the CAHS. Severely burned (vets think it was from chemicals), starving, and requiring surgery! He was found last week at an apartment complex near the Lansing mall. The pictures are heartbreaking! A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible. Please read the story below. And watch the video for more information. Please call and help if you can. There is even a link available to donate if you want to help. And as always we encourage you to stop by the CAHS and to consider adoption!
Capital Area Humane Society, in conjunction with Eaton County Animal Control, is looking for public assistance in collecting information related to an animal cruelty investigation.
A 3-month-old black pit bull puppy, with white on his chest and toes, arrived at the shelter late last week with third degree burns covering 40% of his body, and suffering from starvation. He will remain in the care of the Capital Area Humane Society team as he is being treated, and as the investigation continues.
The puppy was found abandoned at an apartment complex in West Lansing, near Saginaw Street and Mall Drive, then brought to Capital Area Humane Society by animal control authorities. A $500 reward is being offered to those with information leading to an arrest and conviction. Those with information are strongly encouraged to call Eaton County Animal Control at (517) 543-5755. #AdoptLansing
