Where & What To See This Weekend in Mid-Michigan

This weekend will bring some very cold weather and maybe some snow but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy films, Culture, and the Holiday Season in the Mid-Michigan area.

First, the East Lansing Film Festival is about to be over as it runs until the 14th, so if you haven't checked it out here is the schedule and some films coming.

Next, there are a few things for the kids to do this weekend as well with the Family Holiday STEM Market happening at Impression 5 Science Center. Explore hands-on STEM-focused gifts, toys, books, kits, and more at the first annual Impression 5 TO GO STEM Market. It's going on Saturday 10am - 4pm, more here. In addition, also happening at Impression 5 you can explore physiology with MSU student groups as the MSU Department of Physiology and Impression 5 team up to present a "PhUn"-filled day of special activities!

Holiday Art Show and Sale happening through December 24 at 325A Grove Street, Grove Gallery and Studios, M. The gallery invites other artists to bring their work, so they can offer you a wonderful selection of one-of-a-kind items.

On Sunday there is a great event going at the MSU Union from Noon-5p, its called the Global Festival. The event will showcase the cultures and celebrate the diversity of the MSU community.

Its the 2017 Holiday Exhibition (119 N. Washington Sq., Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, MI) Support local artists by shopping from a curated selection of contemporary fine art and modern craft from over 100 Michigan makers! More here.

Also the Spartans are in action as the Men's Basketball Team plays North Florida on Friday, also the MSU Hockey team is in action as well on campus. Of course the big game this weekend is Michigan State vs Ohio State which is at Ohio State and its kicking off at Noon. To check out all Spartan Sports you can here.
