The 4 Ms, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, located in Farmington Hills is a sight for all people looking for strange sights, weird machines, and other oddities.

Every inch of his 5,500 feet of floor space contains a buzzing, clattering or otherwise disturbing coin-operated device. Overhead dangle signs, animatronic dummies, dozens of airplane models gliding along a steel rail, and classic sideshow posters.

MMMM has been open since 1990, though Marvin's collecting dates back to the 1950s. But the part of the collection that you want to see are the coin-operated machines, which each has a small, hand-lettered card that notes its origins. Some of the machines are; "See the Invisible World" is a 1917 prototype, the "Drunkard's Dream" is a 1935 view of "what a drunk sees after one too many." and there is a machine called "The Disgusting Spectacle" which is as odd to explain as it is to see.

Unfortunately Marvin passed away earlier this year but MMMM is still open, (31005 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI) To see more about MMMM and learn more about Marvin you can read it here from roadsideamerica.com
