We had the much needed rain this weekend but now with that heat front covering most of the Midwest we are in for a heat up this week. It shouldn't get over 100 degrees this week like what could be seen in parts of MN, NE, and the Dakotas, but we should see temps reaching between 90 - 95 this week.

Tuesday may be the pick day of the week with some sunshine and comfortable humidity levels and highs in the mid 80s. Wednesday should have the same high temps with climbing humidity once again with the chance of a thunderstorm Wednesday evening.

Hazy, hot and humid for Thursday and Friday. High temperatures Thursday will be near 90 degrees. High temperatures climb into the mid 90s Friday. Thankfully we cool down with a cold front moving through Saturday and may touch off a few thunderstorms. More on the heat this week from the Lansing State Journal
