Double digit millions.  That's how much the ALS Association has collected recently, thanks to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  This is a stark contrast to the approximate $1 million the organization collected last year at this time.

Art Van -- yes, THE Art Van, challenged Governor Snyder.  Snyder challenged Detroit radio personality Paul W. Smith to take the challenge.

The daughter of former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, Jenna Bush Hager, was among several to nominate her parents.

Mr. Bush opted to donate money rather than have freezing water dumped on him, saying it is 'not presidential,' a jab at President Obama, who declined participation in the challenge for that reason.  That's when Mrs. Bush dumps freezing water on him and says that she will donate money because she doesn't want to ruin her hairstyle.

The former President nominated another former President, Bill Clinton, noting that Clinton recently celebrated his birthday and that Bush's gift to him was a bucket of cold water.
