They say a picture says a thousand words. Peep the pictures. See the look on Ariana's face. Note the hand placement.

Even though she has yet to respond or issue a statement, Ariana's performance has been overshadowed by what some are calling "inappropriate' behavior by Bishop Charles Ellis The Third. From the photos, he can be seen placing his arm around her, pulling her close, and touching her breast. All on national television and in front of the congregation at Aretha Franklin's funeral Friday in Detroit.

He cracked a joke about being out of touch and thinking her last name sounded like a Taco Bell menu item. After social media pounced on the Bishop’s gross misbehavior, he gave what some are calling a half-hearted apology. (quote) “Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly.”

On Saturday, Ellis apologized for the accidental touch.

"It would never be my intention to touch any woman's breast. ... I don't know I guess I put my arm around her," Ellis told the Associated Press. "Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar but again, I apologize."

He said he hugged all the performers that day, saying gender wasn't a barrier.

"I hug all the female artists and the male artists," Ellis said. "Everybody that was up, I shook their hands and hugged them. That's what we are all about in the church. We are all about love."

He added, "The last thing I want to do is to be a distraction to this day. This is all about Aretha Franklin." (NBC News)
