Vegetable Recall Now Expands Nationwide
You may have heard of the vegetable-product recall yesterday that was primary at Meijer stores has now gone nationwide, according to the FDA. The FDA has expanded the recall to other stores; Walmart, Trader Joes, and Target.
There was a random inspection of a sample and it was found to be contaminated with listeria. The recall is for more than 30 vegetable products sold September 27th through October 20th. The products that are being recalled or watched are in plastic containers or foam trays with printed labels of various sizes and weights. No illnesses have been reported so far.
