The only state surrounded by fresh water and natural beauty through all four seasons. It's no wonder two of our Michigan communities made the list of most liveable small cities in the country, according to a study by SmartAsset top 35.

The study isn't based on beauty though, this study is based on financial objects. SmartAsset, a financial resource company, compared nearly 300 different cities across the country with populations of 65,000 and 100,000 people, according to MLive. The data surrounding this study consisted of bars, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and entertainment venues.

So, which are the two cities that made this list?

Both cities are in lower Michigan, one near Grand Rapids and the other near Dearborn.

The two communities that made it to the list were Livonia and Wyoming Michigan.

Livonia actually came in at 13th of the most liveable towns in the United States. Livonia has a 15.84% housing cost with a percentage of income. The average commute time is about 23 and a half minutes, with a 1.19% entertainment establishment density.
