There are two Lansing restaurants that are closing and one that will close after almost 50 years of being in business.

First is Mike's Village Restaurant which is in Downtown Diamondale, and known for their baked breads and donuts will be closing. This is a little bit sadder as they will be closing just shy of their 50 year anniversary, They will be closing for good on May 12, more on that here.

Next is a franchise that closed their doors last week quietly. Jersey Giant Subs' final day at 222 S. Washington Square was Friday according to the owner. This Jersey Giant is closing because they say they aren't getting enough business throughout the day and on weekends so they had to close. You can read more about their closing here.
