Two Big Brand Name Stores Closing In Lansing-Area

KMart and Macy's have gone through some changes and because of that both big chain-stores announced that they will closing dozens of stores around the country.

KMart has announced that stores in Lansing (on 5400 South Cedar Street) along with Jackson (on O’Neill Drive) and Adrian (on South Main) will be closed by the end of March. To read more about their closures and why they are closing, more details here. 

Macy's has also announced that since they are have declining sales they are closing up 60+ stores nationwide and unfortunately one of them is in Lansing. The department store chain will close the Lansing Mall store and Macy’s expects to close the other 60+ stores before the end of this year, some as early as this spring.
