Concerns over possible fraud associated with TurboTax software has prompted the state of Minnesota to ban returns prepared with it.

IRS officials say taxpayers have recently found that when they log in to the software to file their return, the software shows that a return has already been filed, according to KARE-TV.

The state continues to accept returns from other software programs and will, of course, accept returns prepared by tax professionals.

KARE-TV says residents in Utah have reported similar issues.
