I pass by Okemos High School everyday and I say to myself, "That's a really nice looking school" and according to a new U.S News list on High Schools its one of the best in Michigan.
U.S News made a list of the top High Schools in America, about 22,000 in all. The list ranks schools based on; if they performed statistically better than usual, did disadvantaged students perform better, graduation rate high than 75%, and are students prepared for college.
Okemos High School is #10 in the list of best Michigan High Schools and was ranked in the top 600 nationwide. Okemos HS has a 94% graduation rate and was given 53.7 score on college readiness. Another note that no Michigan High School was ranked in the top 200 nationwide.
