Tomorrow Is Our 9th Annual Cinderella’s Closet

I'm so excited for tomorrow; helping Mid-Michigan girls get their prom dresses for FREE at our 9th Annual Cinderella's Closet! This is going to be my first time being at Cinderella's Closet, and I just can't wait! There's been a team of us hanging up dresses, putting together dressing rooms, and basically getting everything ready for the last couple days and it looked great when I left a little bit ago.

Here are some tips that I wanted to give you if you plan on heading out to Cinderella's Closet.

1. Get there as early as you can. We won't have the doors open until 10 a.m., however last year, girls started lining up as early as 6 a.m. Getting there earlier with help to make sure you have a chance to get a dress.

2. If you feel comfortable, wear a tank top and shorts under your clothes, that way you can try on a dress immediately. We only have a certain number of dressing rooms, and if you don't have to wait for one, you can try on more dresses in a shorter amount of time.

3. Wear shoes that are comfortable and easy to take on and off. You may be standing in line for a while, you want to make sure your dogs won't be barking by the end of the day. Also, making sure they are easy to put on and take off will help you to try on more dresses in a shorter time as well.

4. Bring a friend! Or a mom or sister or aunt! It never hurts to have an extra pair of eyes on the lookout for "The Dress".
