Get ready for some more new things to be floating in the sky this weekend. Tomorrow night (Feb 10th) through the Saturday morning there will be a series of 3 events all in one night: a Snow Moon, a New Year comet sighting and a lunar eclipse!

A snow moon is basically the full moon for this month and named that cause February usually has the most snow. This year, the snow moon will rise at 5:33 p.m EST on Friday and set at 7:22 a.m. on Saturday. It shouldn't be too hard to spot it in the sky.

Next is the New Year's Comet which was spotted late last year and got its name from that, it will be shooting across the sky on February 11, but you may need a telescope to get a good view of the Comet.

Finally the coolest event of the bunch the Lunar Eclipse, which is when the Earth, Moon, and Sun are in line and causes the Moon to be shadowed and turn red. The shadow will be mostly visible from 7:43 p.m. EST until 9:53 p.m. on Friday, February 11. The moon will look like the picture above.

I'll be trying to get pics so check them out on my Instagram or Twitter. Plus Follow me there or Friend me on Facebook and share your photos, if you get any good ones.
