Here is some really good news for golfers who like to play and also do some good while they are out there swinging their clubs. According to a press release today the McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation will still be hosting the Jack Breslin Golf Classic this year. McLaren is planning on the date being Wednesday, July 22nd, with the event happening at Hawk Hollow Golf Course and Eagle Eye Golf Club, both on Chandler Road in Bath Township. If you've never played Hawk Hollow or Eagle Eye, you're missing out on some great courses and some terrific golf experiences. And here is a chance for you to play and make it count for the good of others.

As you might expect, there will be some new safety precautions this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Jack Breslin Golf Classic will feature:

18 holes, breakfast and lunch, beverages on the course and golfers will get a gift on outing day. As you may know at the end of these golf tournaments, some participants get awards and there is a meal, but this year that will not be happening. The winners will be announced in emails the next day, Thursday, July 23rd.

McLaren also announced other safety features like staggered registration times, less touch points on the course, boxed lunches, provided hand sanitizer, the options for no-touch play and more.
