Are you ready for another incredible eatery? The Tangy Crab, which is a Cajun Inspired restaurant, opened its doors this week on West Saginaw Highway at the former home of Finley's Grill & Smokehouse. (I used to eat at Finley's all the time)

This restaurant will focus on seafood and traditional southern dishes which will bring something new to the Lansing area.

According to the Lansing State Journal, the eatery will offer southern boils, made with seafood, spices, sauce, vegetables, sausage and other additions, made to order.

David Yang, who is one of the restaurant's owners said the the boils can include shrimp, mussels, scallops, clams, calamari, crawfish, crab legs and lobster cooked with spices and sauces.

Sauces will include garlic butter, lemon pepper and The Tangy Special, a mix of different sauces on the menu.

Is it me or does this sound like a seafood lovers paradise? I will tell you this, I can't wait to take my wife to Tangy Crab, she will love this new restaurant.

The 6,000 square foot space at 7433 W. Saginaw Hwy. was renovated inside and outside over the summer.

The dining area will seat 200 people, and there is additional seating available on a patio. As it stands right now, the Tangy Crab is observing capacity limitations of 50% due to the COVID-19 pandemic. (LSJ)

The restaurant will offer dine in and take out orders for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with safety protocols in place.

There's a new restaurant in town and it's called "The Tangy Crab."
