Take a good look at these pictures. This is what hard work, talent, and success will bring you. But even a Hall of Fame career, or having hosted the greatest quarterback of all time doesn't make this mansion as easy sell.

A funny thought just struck me. Who'd have thought 2415 Cumberland in Kalamazoo would be an easier sell than 58 Bahama Circle in Tampa?

In the past few days, social gossip media has been making a big deal of Derek and Hannah Jeter's continued struggle in trying to sell their Tampa Bay mansion. (and as we all know, there's no such thing as bad publicity.)

Chances are, you and I don't have the resources to buy a place like this. It is $29,000,000. We don't hang in those kinds of circles. But those same problems do allow us a peek inside, not only inside the mansion itself, but also into the lifestyle of this rich and famous couple.

Forty-six year old Jeter, who currently is part-owner and CEO of the Miami Marlins, is currently awaiting enshrinement into the Baseball Hall of Fame. But as much as Tampa is lovely, the couple (and their two daughters) probably spends more time in Miami these days.

And we found out great athletes hang out, and offer up their mansions. So when the Super Bowl champion Buccaneers acquired maybe the greatest quarterback of all time Tom Brady, last year, and Brady needed a place to stay for a few months, the Jeters were more than accommodating. You'd think that would be a selling point, like George Washington slept here.

The mansion is just under 22,000 square feet. It has seven bedrooms, and 16 baths (8 full, 8 half). Here's a bit of a sticking point for me. The monthly mortgage payment. Before you sign the deal, you may swallow hard. It's $136,137 per month.

If there's one negative to all this, it's that it does get hot and humid in Tampa in the summer. Having spend many vacations there, and having been there in July, it does get warm. Other than that, this baby ought to be off the market fast. So what to do you say. Let's make an offer.
