For the past few years, State of Michigan officials have warned residents about a colorful insect that that damages fruit, hops, and hardwood trees. Now, national health experts are backing that up, saying this pest should be killed on sight.
According to the USDA, they don't have the authority to reinstate the waiver that had been put into place by the National School Lunch Program, which was created to help feed students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
