The Michigan High School Athletic Association has teamed up with a mental health training program, "be nice." to better help athletes and their mental well-being.

It was 1996 and Katie Teft-Minasola was an alternate for the US Women's gymnastic team at the US trials. As an elite athlete, she has put in many long hours training. She has a complete understanding of the pressure that athletes go through.

A focus on mental health issues was brought to the forefront during the pandemic. Now, Michigan has a way to directly help people who are struggling.

Getting "back to normal" is definitely a good thing but for those with anxiety, could it be happening too fast? Does anyone else just feel overwhelmed lately?
