This year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. In honor of the DNR's anniversary, let's take a look at something you don't see everyday...a deer playing in the water of Lake Superior.
Could you get up before the sun for 1,000 days in a row? That's what one Michigan man is doing. Bugsy Sailor has awoken before the sun to record 1,000 sunrises in a row. He's captured most of the day breaks near Lake Superior.
"Otherworldly" is the word that first comes to mind when you see these photographs. The images are from a Lake Superior shipwreck, one with a possibly fascinating history, made all the more interesting by the mystery attached to it.
Of course Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes, so you shouldn't expect anything less than a raging whitewater creek that is roaring into the lake.
