Survey Says Michigan Hates Social Media

A new study says people in Michigan dislike social media, like Facebook and Twitter, more than any other state in the U.S.

According to 9and10news.com, the staff at ThinkBigAnalytics.com searched social media for what people were saying about their dislike of social media - looking for phrases like "I hate Facebook" or "I hate Twitter".

Michigan was ranked as the NUMBER ONE state that disliked social media. Of the top six ranked states that disliked social media - four were from the Midwest.

Which brings up many questions. Could it be (and I think it is) that it's not actual "social media", but the current attitudes of a lot of people we wade through on social media every day that make us hate it? People who once were our friends or co-workers (or current extended family) Is it the belief that we have to be on social media so we're not out of the loop with our friends?

My guess is the people who truly hate social media have deleted their accounts, or were never on it in the first place.

Remember, you don't have to unfriend, just unfollow.
