Survey Says Michigan Couldn’t Care Less About Bacon

Do you love bacon? I'm assuming you do if you're reading this. Five billion dollars are spent on bacon in the U.S. alone.

According to a Zippia, Michiganders couldn't care less about bacon. They created a map based off of Instagram posts on what state loves bacon the most and Michigan ranked #30. The state that loves it the most is Nebraska and Hawaii apparently doesn't care if it exists cause they're last on the list.

I'm just wondering how in the world we ranked #30? I mean, even vegetarians love bacon. I barely eat meat and I still love bacon.

We even have a restaurant in Michigan that serves a BLT that comes with a pound of bacon. Yes, you read that correctly, one pound of bacon. Tony's I-75 Restaurant's BLT is massive and worth all of the calories. If you claim you're a bacon lover and have never had it, you're a liar.

Tony's loves bacon so much they even have a "The Rules of Bacon" section on their website. Some of those rules include,

When given a breathalyzer, the number they give you is your BAC.  This is short for “Bacon.”  And is equal to the number of slices of bacon you should eat divided by 100 .
