Soon you will be able to bet in person on a sporting event in the state of Michigan. According to WILX, all three Detroit casinos will be authorized by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) for onsite sports betting beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11th. This authorization comes at a big sporting time as March Madness kicks off next week and Major League Baseball starts at the end of the month.

At all three casinos they will have kiosks for people to bet person to person as well as through a machine.

You can see more about the regulations here. If you are wondering when sports betting is coming to tribal casinos, well it might not be for a while as they are all under different rules and regulations than the Detroit casinos.
