The recall involves GoveeLife and Govee smart electric space heaters:

• H7131
• H7132
• H7133
• H7134
• H7135

These heaters come in both black and white and vary in height between 9 inches and 26 inches, depending on the model you own. To confirm if your unit is part of the recall, locate the model number on the manufacturer’s label, found on the underside of your heater.

These heaters have been pulled from the market due to safety concerns, so it’s time to stop using yours immediately if it matches any of these model numbers. GoveeLife has issued this recall to ensure everyone’s safety and is offering guidance on what steps to take next.

If your heater is part of the recall, reach out to GoveeLife customer service for details on refunds or replacements. Don’t let a potential hazard sit around—take action today to secure your home.

If you own one of the recalled GoveeLife or Govee electric space heaters, here’s what to do right away: unplug it, stop using it entirely, and cut the power cord. For a refund, snap a photo of the heater with the cord cut, along with the manufacturer’s label and the SN code (found on the bottom or side of the unit).

Then, upload these photos through Govee’s recall portal.

If you can’t find your original order number, you’ll still get a partial refund based on the model, ranging from $31.80 to $106.63. But if you do have the order number, Govee will give you a full refund.
