Say it isn't so! But these days, nothing comes as a surprise.

If someone would have told you a couple years ago that you would be working at home because there would be this pandemic due to a virus, what would you have said?

I know how I would've responded...yeah...like that...laughter.

So who would've ever thought that Wendy's would run out of burgers? I know, the restaurant chain who's famous advertising slogan back in the day, "Where's the beef?" probably comes to mind if you are old enough to remember Clara Peller, who made that line famous in Wendy's commercials. And yes, I remembered her name and didn't have to Google it. There are days when my memory is better than other days and apparently Clara caught me on a good day.

Now let's get back to the real question of, "Where's the beef?". Not just an advertising slogan, but what's really up with the missing burgers. Well, according to CBS News it's because of the beef shortage that has occurred because of some meat packing plants shutting down due to the effects of COVID-19. Over 9,000 confirmed cases of the virus have been tied to some meat packing plants. So this disruption in meat packing has had a disruptive effect on Wendy's and other restaurants, too.

So now, what do you do if you go to Wendy's and they're out of beef and you can't have a triple cheeseburger with everything? By the way, a personal favorite...Well I'll tell you what I'd do. I'd just double up on the large Frosty's...In fact why not get a chocolate and a vanilla Frosty while you're there? Life is too short not to enjoy.
