Snow Tubing is Back at Hawk Island in Lansing

Here's some good news if the kids are driving you crazy while they're on winter break and you're looking for something to do to keep them busy. After some serious struggles with Mother Nature, officials with the Ingham County Parks Department announced on Thursday that the tubing hill at Hawk Island would be back open starting today--Friday, January 3rd, 2020. The hill has been closed because of the lack of snow and the mild temperatures that we've been having so far this winter in the Lansing area.

According to a post on the Ingham County Parks Facebook page, the Hawk Island tubing hill will open today--Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at 10 am. They add that--weather permitting--the tubing hill will also be open this Saturday and Sunday as well. The snow tubing hill is located at Hawk Island Park at 1601 East Cavanaugh Road in Lansing.
