Scam Warning: For MSUFCU Card Holders

This is a warning for MSUFCU cardholders as there has been a scam alerted. The scam is in regards to some members that have received a text message that is trying to get their MSUFCU cardholder information, including ATM PIN numbers.

As you can see from their facebook post below, the text message claims that members' cards are locked, and tells them to contact a specific phone number. The biggest thing about the texts are that they identify the member's name or card numbers, which can throw some people on to it thinking its the bank but these texts are a scam.

MSUFCU has confirmed that the number that is texting people has been disconnected. Just know that MSUFCU will NEVER ask for your card PIN over the phone or via text message. If you are contacted by this number or this scam please alert MSUFCU.
