Warning: Major Sausage Recall Hitting Michigan

Depending what day it has been recently, the weather has definitely prompted some outdoor cooking. With that being said though, there is a massive recall right now on sausage after plastic was found inside of the sausages.

Before you get ready to prepare lunch or dinner, you should take a look at this recall and see if you have any of the affected products.

Warning: Major Sausage Recall Hitting Michigan

The recall is affecting a very popular brand of sausage, sold by Johnsonville, LLC. The recall is affecting 22,672 pounds of one specific brand of bratwurst, sold by the company here in the state of Michigan.

The recall affects the Bacon Cheddar Bratwurst, which were produced back in February of 2025. The recall was announced after contamination of plastic pieces were found inside of the product.

Multiple states were included in the recall, including the state of Michigan.

The specific product to watch out for, is the 19-ounce sealed tray that has five bratwurst inside. The package code will also say B9FOD on it, with an establishment number of Est. 1647.

If you have the affected product inside of your fridge right now. You are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund, or simply toss the product out. Even if you are willing to roll the dice, it is not advised to consume the product, as it could cause internal stomach issues when consumed.
