With that being said, a Lansing staple, just announced they'd be closing down one of their locations to better focus another company venture of theirs on the south side of Lansing.

A Lansing BBQ Spot Set To Close A Location Here in Lansing

Saddleback BBQ took to their Facebook Page earlier this week to announce that their original West Lansing location, right by Saginaw Highway, will be closing its doors this Saturday, when their lease expires.

While not an easy decision to make, the owners said the move was in part to all the company to concentrate their operations on its South Lansing Pizzeria, on Pennsylvania Ave. This also allows the staff at the current Saddleback location to also continue to serve customers in this location.

Matt Gillett, the owner, said that this was a strategic business move that just aligned with the end of their lease. The company is looking to improve the growth at this location, instead of at two separate locations, after challenges in the industry.

Earlier this year, the Saddleback Restaurant Group, had acquired Coach's Pub & Gril, in Delhi Township, and said that consolidating Saddleback will free up additional resources in the coming months for new projects.
